Your stay at Rancho El Zancudo includes three full days of hunting. With one morning and one afternoon hunt every day of your trip, you will have six chances to harvest the animals you came for.

The Hunt
We allow a maximum of four hunters per guide. If your party has more than four hunters, they will need to be split into multiple groups. You are welcome to switch the people in each group as often as you like. All hunts will take place from the shelter of our sturdy, weather-proof blinds. Depending on weather conditions, season, recent game activity, and the species you want to hunt, our expert guides will lead you to one of our many hunting blinds – all strategically located near water, food plots, feeders, and established game trails. When an animal comes within range of the hunting blind, your guide will identify the species for you and signal whether or not the animal can be harvested. If a buck approaches your blind, your guide will offer his best professional estimate of its B & C score. Once you are given the go-ahead signal, it is up to you to decide if you want to harvest that animal or wait for another one.

Harvested Animals We will process all game for you and pack the meat in your cooler. Because pork cannot be transported across the U.S. border, our chef is happy to prepare any pork you harvest as one of your on-site meals. Any leftover or unwanted pork will be donated to local families in need.

The staff at Rancho El Zancudo will also process trophy animals for transport back to the U.S., including any required freezing or special packaging. We can even assist you with getting trophy animals mounted by a local taxidermist.
